If you have read Susie Rheault's book, My Wild and Precious Life then you understand the dire poverty that the villagers of Nshupu live in. Susie and her husband, Gil Williams, partnered with the Precious Orphans Children's Home in Nshupu to strengthen their efforts to feed and nurture abandoned and orphaned children. Since the tried and true path out of poverty is an education, after a couple of years of helping the orphans, Precious Project began to also support education in the village. Now the Precious English Medium Primary School is renowned for being one of the best in the region with the ambitious goal of providing scholarship for all needy students.
